Frequently asked questions

Is there a contract or early termination fee?โŒ„
No. All Blueficity plans are month-to-month with no contracts and no early termination fees. You can cancel or change your plan at any time with 30 days notice.
How long does installation take?โŒ„
Most installations take 2-4 hours. We schedule a 2-hour arrival window and a certified technician will run the fiber drop, install the gateway, and make sure everything is working perfectly before they leave.
Is the installation really free?โŒ„
Yes. Professional installation is included with every plan at no charge. There are no activation fees, no equipment rental fees, and no other surprise charges on your first bill.
Do you throttle my speeds or slow down at peak hours?โŒ„
Never. We do not throttle, deprioritize, or slow down any customer connection based on usage, time of day, or content type. What you pay for is what you get, all day every day.
What equipment do I need?โŒ„
We provide and install a fiber gateway at no cost. The 1 Gig and 2 Gig plans include a whole-home mesh Wi-Fi system. You are also welcome to use your own compatible router if you prefer.
What is symmetric internet and why does it matter?โŒ„
Symmetric means your upload and download speeds are equal. Most cable internet plans have fast downloads but very slow uploads. With Blueficity fiber, you get the same speed in both directions, which makes a huge difference for video calls, cloud backups, gaming, and working from home.
How do I pay my bill?โŒ„
Bills are due on the same date each month and can be paid via credit/debit card, bank transfer (ACH), or check. We recommend setting up autopay in the account portal so you never miss a payment.
